Middle School, Corio (Years 5 to 8)

Middle School aims to stimulate in our students a confidence in learning, an enthusiasm for a broad range of activities, respect for others and a desire to contribute to the community.

Middle School is located next to Senior School Campus at Corio and provides an environment in which students from Years 5 to 8 can flourish. Years 5 and 6 teachers specialise in the education of students of this age. In Years 7 and 8, students meet many of the teachers who will teach them in later years. Middle School students have access to the extensive Corio Campus facilities and share some of their School experiences with the Senior School students.

The concept of the 'middle years' of schooling recognises that young people aged 10 to 14 have distinct needs. These transitional years from childhood to adolescence are carefully structured from a largely 'one teacher - one classroom' focus to the more diverse subject orientation of the secondary school.

There are a number of bus routes that run directly to the Corio campus. These routes are subject to change and are to be used as a guide only.
