The spiritual life of GGS

Geelong Grammar is an Anglican school; however the School community comprises students from many Christian denominations and from non-Christian faiths.

The School motto, Christus Nobis Factus Sapientia - For us, Christ was made wisdom - is the starting point for the Christian values taught and fostered in the School.

The role of the Chapel and worship lies at the heart of life at all of our campuses. Toorak Campus and Bostock House enjoy a close relationship with St John's, Toorak and All Saints', Newtown respectively.  The Chapel of St John the Baptist at Timbertop plays a central role in daily life on campus and the spiritual life of Middle and Senior School at Corio is centred around the Chapel of All Saints.

The services in Chapel and Religious Education in the classroom encourage spiritual maturity and make an important contribution to the development of the spiritual life of each student.
