Cross Country
The Senior School Cross-Country Programme runs throughout Term 2 and 3. Students train for a total of six APS competitions and other races organised by the local Geelong Cross Country Club and Athletics Victoria. Training occurs both on and off campus with the purpose of allowing students to gain experience in running on varied and interesting terrains. The aim of the Cross-Country team is to allow students to improve their fitness through the setting of realistic goals that are related to finishing positions within each race. The team aspect of this sport is also emphasised and valued. The coaches involved have a variety of backgrounds both at a semi-professional and amateur level.
Equestrian
Students compete for the Geelong Grammar Pony Club which is affiliated with The Pony Club Association of Victoria. A student must have their own horse at Corio and must be prepared to undertake formal training/instruction in consultation with Mrs Oman. There are a number of events throughout the year that students are expected to enter. Students must organise their own transport to get to these competitions. As places are limited please confirm with Mrs Marina Oman on 0438 739 377. Students are only allowed to choose Equestrian in either the Summer or Winter Season but not both. Equestrian is also offered as an activity.

Each team has at least two experienced coaches working with students to develop their skills and knowledge of the game, in addition to this, senior footballers also work with Primary and Middle School teams.
Hockey
The Bender Centre at Corio is a quality synthetic hockey pitch providing students with outstanding onsite facilities to train and compete. A quality programme for the players is offered and is an excellent option for many students.

Currently, the club consists of three teams; Under 16, 2nd XV and 1st XV. These teams train together under the guidance of Head Coach, Duane Luki, a player with vast experience at Super 14 and International Club level. States.
Soccer

The School offers a number of teams at each year level so that each and every student has the opportunity to find a level commensurate with their skill and ambitions. The devolpment of players' technical, physical and game play skills are the focus. There are many quality coaches within the programme (for example former Socceroo Ernie Tapai ) and as such the programme continues to improve.
