The Science of Compassion with Tony Fernando

Monday 8 October, 7pm at Geelong Grammar School, Corio Campus 

Dr Tony Fernando is a psychiatrist and senior lecturer in Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland.

As social animals, our brain rewards us by feeling good when we are cared for and when we show compassion to others. Studies also show that compassion is an essential component of a happy life. This session will focus on the psychology and neuroscience of compassion, as well as discussing practical approaches for developing compassion in daily life.

All are welcome to come along and join us for a fascinating public lecture exploring the domains of sleep and compassion from Dr Tony Fernando.

Due to the enormous worldwide popularity of Dr. Fernando, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.
