HOW TO CHANGE A CULTURE

Managing relationships in schools and communities

Student wellbeing is strongly linked to the relationships that they create in the school environment. How can your school culture and its relationship management policies support this sense of wellbeing? This one day course draws on the work of thought leaders and key researchers in the fields of Developmental Psychology, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Leadership, Motivation and Reflective Science, to focus on the management of mistake, the reparation of relationships damaged by mistake, and the role of forgiveness in wellbeing for individuals and organisations.

Participants will:

  • investigate the influence of institutional culture on wellbeing and individual flourishing
  • discuss relationship management policies in schools
  • explore how they can take practical steps to change a culture to improve wellbeing.

AUDIENCE

Educators and school leaders who would like to improve student wellbeing and their school culture. Participants do not need to have done any prior Positive Education training before attending this course.
