POSITIVE TEACHING PRACTICES

Successful teaching through creating positive connections

How can you be at your best as a teacher? How can you set the tone for positivity in your classroom and form relationships that help your students thrive? This one-day course explores the micro-skills of highly successful teachers, focusing on the student-teacher relationship and how this affects the way that students learn.

At the end of this day, participants take away:

  • knowledge about their personal strengths as a teacher and how this can be implemented in the classroom
  • experience in using process rather than person or product praise
  • a range of easy to use resources and strategies to allow teachers to harness the power of relationships
  • a comprehensive booklet with examples, research background and ideas to enhance their teaching practice.
