Softball offers an exciting team option for the girls and presents a sport in which Australian teams have had a great deal of success. Softball has been an Olympic sport since 1996 and, although being omitted from the last two Olympic games, is scheduled to return to the Tokyo Olympics. The Australian women's team has competed and won medals at every edition of Olympic softball.

The coaching set-up within Australia is said to be the driving force behind the nation's success; likewise the calibre of coaches at GGS present our girls with excellent guidance and opportunities to further their game. Training focuses on developing the girls’ technical and physical Softball skills, as well as their underlying understanding of the game of Softball. A number of well-qualified coaches, who have experience playing and coaching at a national and international level, work with the girls and provide excellent opportunities in terms of skill development and enjoyment of the game.
