QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY HONOURS

Dr David Miller Coles (P'60) was awarded Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for service to medicine, and to rowing.  David is the father of Rupert Coles (P'84), Nina Tomasoni (Coles, Cl'86) and Simon Coles (P'87).  David is the proud OGG pictured below right at the OGG ACT Branch Dinner in 2010 with Cameron Colquhoun (FB'69).

Geelong Grammar School Community Members

Awarded Companion (AC) of the Order of Australia in the general division.

The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Melbourne Robert Doyle for eminent service to the people of Melbourne through roles in local government, to the Parliament of Victoria, particularly in the areas of health and public administration, and to the community as a supporter of youth, social welfare and medical research foundations. Robert is the father of Bridie Doyle (Cl'04).

Awarded Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in the general division.

Mr Ian Carson for significant service to the community through contributions and leadership in the food rescue sector, and to business.

Mrs Simone Carson for significant service to the community through contributions and leadership in the food rescue sector. Ian and Simone are the parents of Isy Carson (Ga'13) and Elisa Carson (Timbertop '12).

Dr David Daintree for significant service to education, particularly to tertiary colleges, and as a scholar.  David is a former member of staff at the Timbertop Campus.

Mrs Diana Morgan for significant service to the arts, particularly to the museum and galleries sector, as a supporter and benefactor, and to the community. Diana is the mother of Henrietta Morgan (Cl'88) and Rodney Morgan (M'98).

Mr Claude Ullin for significant service to the community through a range of organisations, to the visual arts, to multiculturalism, and to local government.  Claude is the father of Nicholas Ullin (M'90).

Awarded Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in the military division.

Air Commodore Michael Burnett for exceptional service as a legal officer and as the Deputy Judge Advocate General - Air Force. Michael is the father of Prudence Burnett (Cl'11).

Mrs Keri Craig-Lee for service to the clothing manufacturing sector, to business, and to the community. Keri is the mother of Harrisson Lee (Timbertop '07) and Cartier Lee (Timbertop '12).
