WELCOME FROM OUR NEW CHAIR

The Past Parents Network never would have come to fruition if not for the vision and enthusiasm of a number of people, in particular, Cathie Vickers-Willis, Brigid Robinson and Sally Kincaid, along with the support of GGS and the Foundation. Their hard work and determination to establish the Network is to be applauded.

As elected Chair for 2014 my objectives are:

1.  to continue to build on the solid foundation that the PPN founders have created;

2.  to further engage and connect with the greater community of past parents, both in Australia and overseas;  and

3.  explore the opportunity of organizing events in different states and countries.

In order for these to be achieved we need your help. If you know of parents who had children at GGS in the 80’s ,90’s or before, and may be interested in joining the Committee please contact us. In this way we can promote the PPN and advance it to new levels.

As Chair, I would welcome your input.  Due to our geographic spread this is perhaps best achieved via email rather than meetings. I look forward to working with you all in order for us to further enhance and expand the total PPN experience.

My very best wishes to you all, wherever you are in the world, for an enjoyable and safe festive season, and look forward to greeting as many of you as possible in the new year.
