MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

Welcome to this your first newsletter for 2014.

The year has already provided some opportunities for some of us to meet and renew our relationships. In March some past parents were able to join the whole school, and its associations, in celebrating Back to Corio day. In early May many of us enjoyed a wonderful Cocktail Function held in a private home in Melbourne. As the year progresses, and in 2015, there will be more occasions to meet and maintain our links, renew friendships and make new ones.

PPN is a self-funding social network. Our aim is to keep the flame alight for those of us who spent a number of years happily engaged with the School, and with each other, whilst our children transitioned through GGS. We would like to reach out to all local, interstate and international past parents who may wish to engage with us. We need to grow our membership and this will only happen by you spreading the word.

Our database has many past parents without an email address - especially those whose children left GGS pre-2000. If you know of past parents who have not been receiving invitations to our PPN events, or indeed this electronic newsletter, please ask them to email me: markela@tpg.com.au. We would love to be able to stay in touch.

Markela Sargent-Peck
