THANKS FOR FOLLOWING @GeelongGrammar

The School's Twitter account (@GeelongGrammar) recently passed 1,000 followers - a fantastic achievement - and we wanted to say thanks to everyone that has followed and interacted with us.

The account started in November 2012 and, at the beginning, was largely used to communicate sports results. As time has gone by, the School's Twitter feed has diversified and now captures all angles of Geelong Grammar School life. In 2014, @GeelongGrammar was the number one ranked Twitter account on the Australian Boarding Schools Association’s (ABSA) social media table, based upon a range of statistics, including user engagement (retweets, favourites, etc.). The Twitter 'feed' can now be found on the GGS Portal homepage- a significant upgrade in terms of promotion from our initial presence on the platform.
