The above video was screened for guests on the night in Michael's absence.

The inaugural Biddlecombe Society Western District cocktail party was held at Wooriwyrite by kind permission of John and Sue Morrison on Thursday 13 July. 40 people attended, including Old Geelong Grammarians, Clyde Old Girls, Hermitage Old Girls, Past and Current Parents. It was lovely to have such a cross section of our community present. It gave us an opportunity to thank everyone for their ongoing support for the Foundation and School in their own individual ways.

It also enabled those present to gain a better understanding of the Biddlecombe Society and Bequests and the important role these play within the life of the School, both now and in the future.

These are indeed exciting times as we see interest in the Biddlecombe Society increase and membership grow as a result. There are three more events taking place this year:

1) Mansfield on Thursday 17 August
2) Sydney on Thursday 7 September
3) Melbourne on Thursday 26 October

I am delighted to report that 2017 is shaping up to be another good year for the Biddlecombe Society, building upon the progress of last year.
