SOUTH AUSTRALIA BIDDLECOMBE SOCIETY LUNCHEON
The Biddlecombe Society, hosted its South Australia Luncheon in the SACA Committee Room at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday 23 May. Charlie Sutherland (P’86), as Chairman, was delighted to welcome the biggest gathering for this event, which represented a broad cross section of the wider school community; OGGs, past and current parents, as well as some who had been past students of Clyde School and The Hermitage. Also attending the event was Penny McBain, Chair of the Geelong Grammar Foundation together with Jo Nitz, Director of Advancement. Special guest and speaker, Jeremy Kirkwood gave a very stimulating talk on his association with the School over many, many years as an OGG, past parent and Biddlecombe Society member and through his various roles on the School Council, latterly as Chairman.
Charlie was pleased to report that awareness of the Biddlecombe Society is growing and the membership continues to strengthen.
