2019 SYDNEY BIDDLECOMBE SOCIETY LUNCHEON
On Tuesday 3 December, the Sydney Biddlecombe Society luncheon took place in the Utzon Room at the Sydney Opera House, hosted by the Chairman, Charlie Sutherland (P’86). Those attending heard a wonderful speech from Jeremy Kirkwood (FB’79), Chairman of the School Council. In addition, six new pins were presented by Chair of the Geelong Grammar Foundation, Penny McBain. Arthur Charles (M’58) said the grace.
We were delighted to welcome a number of Biddlecombe Society members and their guests together with other members of the Geelong Grammar community, Clyde Old Girls and Past and Current parents.
The new venue, named after the designer of the Opera House, and the luncheon itself, were a huge success, capping off a wonderful year for the Biddlecombe Society.
