VALE GORDON MOFFATT

Geelong Grammar School, the Geelong Grammar Foundation and our community remember Gordon fondly and gratefully as an outstanding student and sportsman (1943-48), as a past parent, and as a munificent donor, Eminent Member and Governor of the Geelong Grammar Foundation. We celebrate Gordon’s remarkable contribution to our School and the broader community.

A self-described “charity worker” who earned a reputation as a schoolboy cricketer for batting “fast and hard”, Gordon’s impact lives on at GGS through the Gordon Moffatt Scholarship and the Gordon Moffatt Prize for Contribution to School Life.

On behalf of the GGS community, we send our condolences to Gordon’s family, particularly his children, Tim, Julie, Craig, Scott and Heather, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
