LORNE 160 RAISES FUNDS FOR ORANGE SKY LAUNDRY

This year's Lorne 160 cohort completed the annual relay run from Corio to Lorne and back again in sunny, albeit blustery, conditions on Thursday 21 September to bring the curtain down on their Term 3 fundraising efforts. This year's charity of choice is Orange Sky Laundry and the fundraising tally stands at around $45,000.

The group of 20 Year 11 students raised funds in any number of ways, including casual clothes days, selling chocolates, sporting activities and the generous sponsorship from family, friends and the broader School community. In its 27th year, the Lorne 160 is a very unique community service event with a strong tradition at the School. The event has raised significant funds for a wide range of charities over the years; making a remarkable difference to the lives of many organisations, families and children in the Geelong region.
