Geelong Grammar School offers a truly unique boarding experience. Most students at Corio Campus and all at Timbertop are boarders living away from home, totalling over 800 students combined. There are no limits to the friendships that can be fostered, and the global outlooks that can be formed as a Geelong Grammar School student.

We are committed to providing life-changing opportunities to young people who otherwise could not afford a GGS education, especially those from remote, rural, regional and Indigenous communities. Depending on the category awarded, successful Scholarship recipients may receive up to 75% remission for both tuition and boarding fees for the duration of their schooling at Geelong Grammar School, and up to 100% of day or boarding fees in extenuating circumstances.

Boarding scholarships are awarded to students who are entering the School across Year Levels 7 to 11. Each scholarship category has specific criteria for eligibility and the level of award. To decide which category to apply for, please refer to the table below:
