Celebrating 70 years of Timbertop

Timbertop was established in 1953, and 70 years later it continues to provide transformational experiential learning in its beautiful bush setting. While the goal for students in this challenging and unique programme is to step beyond their comfort zone and discover “there is more in them than they think”, staff often find their experience is similarly powerful and memorable. In fact, after time shared at Timbertop, irrespective of the era, students and staff soon learn to speak the same language; such words as “crossies”, “troopies”, “long runs” and “slushies” are woven into the dialogue of day-to-day living.

In 2023, to celebrate such a unique shared experience spanning 70 years, we are gathering at Timbertop to reflect, share stories, and reconnect with each other. We are delighted to invite you, and your plus one, to our Timbertop Staff Reunion, and we hope you can return to this special place and be part of our special community once again.
