Supporting the Sport of Rugby at Geelong Grammar School

The John Lewis Club was established in the mid-1990s as the supporters group for GGS rugby followers.

In 2009, an enthusiastic committee was formed. At one of the initial committee meetings, it was determined that we need to do all we can to promote fellowship of both sideline supporters and the playing and coaching staff. To this end, each season we plan events that would assist us all in getting to know each other better.

If you are not already a member, I invite you to download a membership form or sign up online today!

Should you be able to get to a match in Melbourne or Geelong during the season, please come along and stand on the side line to cheer on 'The Gs'.

We look forward meeting you at one of the matches.
With thanks for your continued support,

Ted Matson

Membership to the John Lewis Club is by a one-off subscription only and is open to all current GGS Parents, Old Geelong Grammarians and supporters of Rugby at Geelong Grammar.

Family Membership comes with a Club tie and scarf, while Individual Membership comes with either a Club tie or a scarf.

The John Lewis Club is now under the umbrella of the Australian Sports Foundation (the ASF). This means that any donations to the Club are now tax deductible – a huge benefit to you, our supporters.
The Club does need funds to continue to provide equipment, improved coaching facilities, provide barbecues at match day, social functions for our parents and supporters, and trophies/badges for our players. This can only occur with your donations and we are grateful for any help you may be able to provide.

Jump on board and become a Supporter! Follow this link:  and remember that every dollar you donate via the ASF is tax deductible.
