Corio Connect scholarships are awarded to current students who demonstrate sound academic attitude and achievement; exemplary work ethic and character; and all-round ability and enthusiasm across a broad range of disciplines. The scholarships are available to current Year 9 students who will be entering Year 10 in 2024.

Corio Connect scholarships are means-tested and shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide financial information for their application to be considered.

To be eligible for a Corio Connect scholarship at Geelong Grammar School, applicants must be:

  • a current student entering into Year 10 in 2024 and who is not eligible for any other concession for boarding and tuition fees including associate discount.

Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa.

Corio Connect Scholarship candidates should demonstrate:

  • sound academic attitude and achievement;
  • all-round ability and willingness to participate in co-curricular activities;
  • an exemplary work ethic;
  • social awareness; and
  • leadership, service and commitment to making a positive difference.

Successful candidates will be eager to participate in the wide range of opportunities available at the School, respecting the philosophy and rules that govern the School.

Parents of shortlisted students will be asked to provide personal financial information to support the scholarship application. Unfortunately, applications without financial information cannot be considered.

The value of a Corio Connect scholarship may be up to the value of 50% of day boarding/tuition or boarding/tuition fees.

The scholarship awarded does not apply to uniforms, private vocal or instrumental lessons, textbooks, excursions, camps, sundry charges or other personal items.

Shortlisted students will be interviewed in person at the Timbertop campus in August with the Admissions Manager.
