EXAMINATIONS

Held at the Corio Campus. Registration commences from 8.30am, with the examination starting at 9.00am.

Alternative examination locations may be arranged for students who live in remote, interstate or overseas locations. Please register your details early to allow this to be coordinated by Edutest.

INTERVIEW AND SELECTION

Approximately two weeks after the examination, shortlisted students will be invited to attend an interview at the School. (In some cases, Skype interview can be arranged).

Scholarships will be offered as soon as possible after the interview. All awards are reviewed annually.

WHAT DOES AN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP COVER?

Each year the School awards a number of academic scholarships of up to 50% of the tuition and day or boarding fees; the actual percentage offered depends on the performance of the individual candidate in both the examination and, if shortlisted, the subsequent scholar's interview. Awards of over 50% are made in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, parents are asked to complete a financial assessment form.

The scholarship awarded applies to the relevant Geelong Grammar School fee, but not to uniforms, private music lessons, text books, excursions, sundry charges or other personal items.
