Sports Scholarships to talented athletes who show exceptional sporting promise at an elite level.

A Sports Scholarship at Geelong Grammar School provides access to advanced coaching, mentoring, training and competition support, as well as an exceptional education that will allow the student to grow intellectually, creatively, emotionally, morally, socially and spiritually.

  • New students into Year 10 and 11 in 2023
  • Must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa.

Successful applicants must abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship.

Sports scholarships are offered to students who could not otherwise attend Geelong Grammar School without financial assistance. Students should have strengths in particular sports (as highlighted below), and already be competing at a state or national level. They should also be eager to participate in the wide range of opportunities available at the School and respect the philosophy and rules that govern the School.

Students awarded a Sports Scholarship will be expected to complete three seasons of sport, two of which must be a major sport. Major sports are indicated with an asterisk.
