Year 7 student Annabelle Jarvis’ song “No Breadcrumbs” won the Student Award in the 2021 UK Songwriting Contest, announced on January 31. Annabelle is the first ever recipient of the Student Award – a new category in 2021 – and has been described as a “worthy winner from a very talented young lady. We expect to hear more from Annabelle in the coming years as she develops her talent.” Annabelle has also been shortlisted in the Youth category for the Australian Songwriting Contest.
